My second theatre workshop at the RIS Swiss Section. This time with the students of the 8th grade. I was quite excited since it was a group of 16 this time, but it worked out brilliantly.

I led the students through the creative process of coming up with a theme / message of their own. Based on this creating their scenes and then working as a facilitator to create a play out of the improvised scenes.

I loved seeing the excitement, engagement and enthusiasm in each of them. Even the ones that never wanted to be on stage or were especially shy, or didn’t like German (yes, there are those as well). In the end all of them stood their ground on stage and I think all of them enjoyed it as well.
Theatre and acting has changed my life. At the lowest point of my life, when I was a teenager, I found theatre and it gave me new hope, recognition and a reason to live. It is my passion and my love. I am happy to be able to share this with the new generation and help them to feel how much fun it can be on stage.

There were some issues with the recording this time, but we are working on that and the next time the recording will be better, I promise.
Please enjoy “Comeback Story”
